After a delicious breakfast, we left Beinn Bhracaigh Guesthouse and drove west in the direction of Kinloch Rannoch. 

Our first stop was the famous Queens View. From here you get a beautiful view over Loch Tummel. The place was named after Queen Victoria who visited in 1866; however it is also possible that the place was named after Queen Isabella, the wife of Robert the Bruce.

We stopped at a camping site to get closer to the shores of Loch Tummel and made the acquaintance of four Scotsmen camping there with family and friends. We started talking and took some photographs.

Our journey to the south shore of Loch Rannoch took us along the river Tummel and we stopped several times just to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and to take photographs. 

On the way to Aberfeldy, we stopped and visited Castle Menzies which had been the seat of the chiefs of the Menzies Clan for centuries. We had lunch in Aberfeldy and when we got back to the Land Rover, we saw someone there waiting for us. He asked us if we were from Bahrain and we answered yes. He said he lived in Bahrain from 1959 to 1965, met his wife there and also had his first two children while on the island.

He introduced himself as Neil Cowan and invited us to his home for coffee and showed us the licence plate for the car he used to drive when he lived in Bahrain.

After that interesting encounter, we headed back to our guesthouse and got ready for dinner. Tomorrow, we take the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam, Holland, on our way back.

It is really very hard to leave Scotland with so many things to see and do, but after being on the road for over two months, it's time for us to head back.

I know however that I will be back again in Scotland, and soon.
