1 - What are the things you like most about Bahrain?

I love that Bahrain is multicultural. I enjoy its local traditions and the kindness and hospitality of its people. It is a safe country to travel to or reside in. Also, it has beautiful beaches.

2 - What are on your must-see and do list in Bahrain?

First, I would visit the Bahrain Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site commemorating Bahrain's history. It has a small museum next to it where you can learn more about the old days. Also, you can take a break at the unique Green Bar cafe and buy some souvenirs.

The old Manama Souq in Bab Al Bahrain is a must-visit; a unique experience where you combine old and new.

Muharraq Souq. One of the oldest markets on the island. You will enjoy this place if you like small streets and little shops.

And finally, the Bahrain National Museum.

There are many more must-see places in Bahrain, but these are my favorite destinations.

3- What are your suggestions for restaurants and must-eat dishes?

Bahrain is so diverse that you can find all cuisines. There are excellent restaurants catered to all audiences, but you must have a traditional Bahraini breakfast when visiting the island.

4- What are the items to buy in Bahrain and where?

I would support small and local businesses when in Bahrain. For example, you can visit the Capital Mall for Bahraini handmade products.

5- Please mention a not to be missed experience/sight in Bahrain

I think pearl diving is a must-do on the island. Bahrain pearls have been categorized as some of the best natural pearls in the world, so diving into the clear blue sea of Bahrain to get your pearl would be quite an adventure.

6- What do you say about Bahrain people's hospitality?

Bahrainis are approachable, humble and kind. They are hospitable and ready to help you when needed. I have been living in Bahrain for ten years and have formed some beautiful friendships. While it has many expats, you still socialize with the locals, which is beautiful.
